Mid-century modern pair of rattan barrel back armchairs made in the organic modern manner and style of McGuire. The chairs feature a horseshoe shaped crest inset with woven cane on the back and sides. The seats have a thick cushion measuring 24 inches high and are very comfortable. The rattan is lashed together with rattan laces on the exposed joints. The chairs have a handsome profile with a desirable aged patina on the finish as seen in photos. The joinery is strong and solid. From an estate in Napa, CA.
