Pair of Ralph Lauren Organic Modern Seagrass Lounge Chairs

Rare pair of large woven seagrass and rattan lounge chairs or armchairs designed by Ralph Lauren. The chairs feature oversized rattan frames embellished with natural woven seagrass in the coastal organic modern style. The chairs are very sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The generous seats have a fitted seat cushion with blue and white chinoiserie style fabric. The fabric has a floral and foliate motif that was probably reupholstered recently. The natural seagrass has a desirable warm faded patina on the finish. The chairs are supported by short wooden legs. The arms measure 22 inches high. Sold as a pair. Makers labels on bottoms of seats.
